between Leibniz Universität Hannover (Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover), represented by the President, in the following LUH, Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) - German National Library of Science and Technology (Welfengarten 1B, 30167 Hannover, Germany), represented by the Director, in the following TIB, and the author (rightsholder) of the materials. Subject of this agreement are the submitted Materials (documents including the metadata provided, abstracts, and additional material where applicable).
Regarding the Materials as a whole or in part and within the scope of services, pro-ducts, offers or existing or future projects in which TIB or LUH participate, I grant to LUH and TIB the non-exclusive right to use, to provide worldwide access via data networks independently of the type of transmission technology (download), to provide long-term storage, to copy, to distribute, to adapt and to use the adapted versions for the above named purposes without time limit. Uploading the Document does not con-stitute a legally binding claim to the provision of access to or archiving of the Document.
I declare that the provision of the Materials incl. all parts (e.g. illustrations) and where applicable additional material does not violate Rights of Third Parties (e. g. rights of joint copyright owners, probands, publishers, collecting societies, third party funding agencies) such as copyright or data protection. In case claims are brought against LUH or TIB on the grounds of violation of Third Party Rights, I will indemnify LUH and TIB (also regarding all costs of litigation), if I am liable for the circumstances. LUH and TIB may block access to a Document, if specific indications for the violation of Third Party Rights exist. The parties shall inform each other immediately in case claims are raised by Third Parties on the grounds of violation of their rights regarding named Materials.
I grant to LUH and TIB the right to store the Document and metadata, abstract and where applicable additional material in its long-term-archive and to convert it to other electronic and physical data formats if necessary (e.g. migration, unencumbered or improved access).
I provide the metadata incl. abstract of the Document to LUH and TIB free of charge under the conditions of the CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication (http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/).
LUH and TIB may assign the rights granted by this license all or in part to third parties, grant rights or permit the use to others without additional explicit consent (e.g. to be able to take advantage of services of third parties for the above named purposes, in connection with national collection policies, to support scientific networking or if another institution permanently takes over functions of LUH and TIB).
