dc.description.abstract | In this work, the role of carbon black (CB) as reinforcing material for elastomer composites was studied on various length-scales.The technique of static, volumetric gas adsorption was utilized to elucidate the energetic- and morphological characteristics of the surface of CB on the smallest length-scale.
